What is a lip flip?
Tiny amounts of Botox® relax the muscle that tucks the upper lip inward. The lip can show a bit more height and looks slightly fuller—different from filler volume, but complementary for some patients.
How it works
Injections sit along the upper lip border area to soften the muscle pull. The change is subtle and develops over 7–14 days.
Benefits
Quick, minimal downtime, and no filler if you mainly want a slight eversion of the lip rather than volume.
Frequently asked questions
Lip flip
Will I still move my mouth normally?
Yes—dosing aims to preserve expression and drinking through a straw may feel odd only briefly for some.
Lip flip vs filler?
A flip changes muscle tone; filler adds volume. We can explain which fits your goals—or both.
