What is hyperhidrosis?

Hyperhidrosis means sweating beyond what is needed for temperature control. It can affect underarms, hands, feet, or other areas and affect confidence and clothing choices. Botox® reduces signalling to sweat glands in treated areas.

How treatment works

After mapping the area, Botox® is injected superficially to reduce sweat-gland activity. The session is usually straightforward; local or topical anaesthesia can be used for comfort.

Benefits

Many people notice a clear reduction in sweating in treated areas, with effects that often last months. The approach is minimally invasive when you are a suitable candidate.
